930 E OLEANDER

(Above: Renderings of potential development for the Historic Shotgun Houses that remain at 930 E Oleander)

930 E Oleander is a 9,625 sqft location comprised of 3 platted lots with 4 early century shotgun houses still standing.

These home became overrun by squatter for over 2 years after the passing of the former owner. During this time these historic homes endured fires and major decoration and faced demolition as noting in a report by Fort Worth Report. During this time partners of ERC stepped in to acquire the location to ensure what had become a major eyesore for the neighborhood had the opportunity to turn into a contributing economic asset of Fort Worth.

Partnership due of father and son, Bart and Mateson Gutierrez, were featured in Fort Worth Magazine and their plans for this location. RC is now looking at this project as a historic revitalization opportunity, granted the deterioration due to the squatters has not ruined what value remained. Regardless the location’s land sqft of 9,625 + the abandoned alleyway grants the location enough space to get over the minimum 10,000 sqft needed to attract the right build to the area to be a long term contributing economic asset for the urban village.
